Join us for the Star Wars: Unlimited Homeworlds (Set 9) Planetary Qualifier at Cardboard Games! This is the smallest Competitive Tier event in FFG’s C3-OP (Organized Play) and hosted by local game stores like ours!
This Star Wars: Unlimited’s C3-OP structure is Competitive Tier (as defined in Section 2.3.3 of the Star Wars: Unlimited Comprehensive Event Guide) and following the Sealed (Limited) format details (as defined in Section 9.2.5). Additionally, Cardboard Games will be following the Sealed Deck Verification Process, as outlined by FFG and Cascade Games Judge Program.
Cardboard Games places an emphasis on community fun at all times, even for Competitive Events, so bring a positive attitude with your competitive spirit and show respect at all times while at the event. Limited events often have extra steps or stages to set up while maintaining competitive integrity as much as possible, and your patience and understanding is appreciated!
Event registration will start at 12:30pm, and event rounds will begin at 1pm
Players will be given sealed Homeworlds booster packs and to open (when instructed), sort and log, and verify with their table partner (approximately 30 minutes)
Players will construct their Sealed format deck and register (approximately 30 minutes)
Best-of-Three (Bo3) Swiss Rounds, into Top Cut
All players should bring the following to comply with Competitive Tier rules:
Fresh Card Sleeves (brought or purchased in-store) with no edge or corner damage, markings, or other issues that could lead to a necessary judge action for marked cards
Damage counters and tokens necessary to maintain your side of the board
Event will cost $50 (online ticket sales only)
Every player will receive six (6) booster packs for use in the event to construct their deck; another six (6) booster packs will be added to the prize pool (per player)
Every player will receive one (1) Planetary Qualifier promo card for participating
Every player will receive one (2) C3-OP packs for participating
Every player will receive one (1) booster pack per Swiss Round Win
Please note, this is minimum prizing meant only to ensure players can calculate a basic value proposition from the ratio of fee to product. Cardboard Games will add additional prizing (both from our own inventory and FFG-provided event support) as registered player count increases.
Promo cards (with placement stamps) will be awarded to Top Cut placements
Booster packs remaining in the Prize Pool after Swiss Rounds will be divided to Top Cut placements

Cardboard Games is an official Flagship store with Fantasy Flight Games, and all Star Wars: Unlimited official Organized Play events (Prerelease, Weekly OP, and Store Showdown) will require participants to have their Melee.gg account with Asmo ID information readily available for the store hosts.
